    Start: Bishop Cannings (26.2 miles/all day) or Bradford on Avon (10 miles/afternoon) £20 entry, plus sponsorship

    Join The Forever Friends Appeal’s popular walking marathon along the beautiful Kennet & Avon Canal – every step will support patients and their families cared for at the Royal United Hospitals. The 26.2 mile walk will be opened by legendary Glastonbury festival founder, Michael Eavis CBE in Bishops Cannings (near Devizes) and an afternoon 10 mile walk starts in Bradford on Avon. Finishing at the Holburne Museum in Bath. As well as the entry fee, you will also need to agree to raising a further £100 sponsorship for the charity.     Starts at Bishop Sutton Football Club Map

    A popular countryside event which also includes a 1k fun run. This is a not-for-profit event, with all monies raised split evenly between chosen charities. More info at www.chewvalley10k.co.uk
